I am on this website because I am divorced and I miss female intimacy and friendship. I am in excellent health and look and act younger than my age would warrant. Until May of 2012 I was a full-time college professor of Spanish, and I also have a Masters degree in classical guitar performance and gave a recital last July. I am very well-read in a number of fields, and I LOVE to dance salsa, so if you dance I would welcome a partner for occasional outings to the Salsa Room in VA or the Lucky Strike in DC. Since I grew up overseas -- not a "military brat" but the of two journalists -- I am culturally more in tune with foreigners, so if your idea of a good time is going to a football game or a military parade I would not be your "cup of tea." My Ideal Person Ideally, I would love to meet a highly intelligent woman who wants a genuine friendship. I would also like her to have a sense of humor and -- although this may sound odd or simply trite -- be an essentially nice and loving person, as I really don't like nasty, aggressive or mean people.
