So I've been on (and off) the site for a while and one thing remains a constant. There's plenty of activity which requires very little investment. What do I mean by that? Well, it's very easy to "flirt" or "hotlist" my profile, or send a friend request - it's a just a click of a button. If you actually want to catch my attention then I expect a lot more from you.
I've read plenty of men's profiles [only interested them  ] and I see so many putting little to no effort in writing anything of substance. And don't get me started on the ones without any photos! #smh
I don't believe in writing a novel, but if I can't get a general idea about you and what makes you different or someone I'd like to talk to then I won't bother responding to you. It's basic math really... whatever you put into something is exactly what you'll get back!

I still have to book everything, but I'm planning to be in San Diego in May for a week.
I've never been to the west coast before and I'm really looking forward to it. Now it's a matter of making plans… any suggestions for me?

I can't believe how fast time flies... Welcome to 2015 everyone!
I'm not really a fan of celebrating the new year since it's just another day on the calendar. However I am a fan of getting extra days off of work, so I guess it's a win, right?!
Well I don't have any resolutions as such but I'm definitely making time to take inventory and see what my next steps should be for the year ahead. I'm all about reflecting on what's happened before I start planning what's next... I can already tell you that I will pick back up writing in this blog. I think that'll be a great place to start!!
What are your big (or small) plans for 2015??

As my profile indicates, I'm only interested in men; therefore, all the profiles I see on this site are from men. So I'm always curious to know why there are status updates or profiles that talk about "time wasters" and being "jerked around".
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are plenty of people on here that don't have any intention of ever meeting face-to-face. I have been online long enough to know that the anonymity of the internet can be a very seductive thing. I have been thinking though, there might be another factor at play here.
I get my fair share of email *grin* and I see the typical copy+paste messages, but every now and then I get a message that intrigues me enough to respond in the hopes of a possible conversation. I can't speak for all women but when deciding who I will engage with on this site and possibly meet up for drinks or a meal it all boils down to one thing - conversation. If I can't speak with you online or over the phone for a reasonable amount of time then there's little to no chance of meeting up for anything physical to happen.

After a few visits with lots of conversation, and establishing a great connection I decided not to go home after having a late lunch with my new friend. It's funny how certain things can trigger a (good or bad) memory like a song, a smell, a place... you know what I mean?

Over the years I've changed my hair style from short to long; blond to red to brunette. I always like to change things up. There's one thing however I've discovered that I really enjoy; hair pulling.

Hi there and welcome to my first blog entry. I've never had a need to start blogging, but figured this is a great way to test my skills.
Now, what shall we talk about?? Hummm...
