these are people, her FACEBOOK friends, from what I gather who are asking her to join their CAUSE in ATTEMPTING to MAKE FACEBOOK ban CERTAIN pages from FACEBOOK.
Not from their personal computers or however some of you think.
...I mean BANNING PEOPLE FROM SETTING UP PAGES WITH CERTAIN SUBJECT MATTER!
Smacks of CENSORSHIP to me.
Yeah the Government may have no affiliation with FACEBOOK BUT if we allow private entities to pick and choose which rights we can and cannot exercise how far behind is the government?

and she often gets people who ask her to join them in causes to block or ban certain pages. When she asks me what I would do...
I'm torn on all this blocking stuff on FACEBOOK...
... I mean yeah some of it DISGUSTS me i.e. porn (sick f*cks) but this is America and we do have our 1st Amendment Right...
you know... freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press, as well as the right to assemble and petition the government...
and even though I don't always AGREE with what some people SAY or P...RACTICE or PUBLISH... I don't think we should be able pick and choose what should or should not be banned or blocked.
If we do this... should we be able to pick and choose what other rights we can stand up for and which ones we can let fall by the wayside?
Our right to vote?... Bear arms?... Remain silent? Trial by jury?
If we don't stand up for and EXERCISE ALL of our rights ...
soon THEY (the government) will slowly BUT surely take ALL of our rights from us.
One by one...
