of the funnier things said to me this weekend ........... or maybe not so funny
After meeting me in person "But your pics are so sexy!!!"
Turns out she confused me with someone from the same city. Seems this other guy is in his 20s and goes by crazyrabbit or something similar. She seemed quite shocked that I wasn't 20 ...... and apparently not sexy
The other comment was from a friend who said I was "too nice". I told her I would try to work on that. What else are you going to say to that??

in a sci fi mood. I vaguely remember watching the original Star Trek [1966-1969], mostly because my older brothers watched it and we only had 1 tv lol.
Then Space 1999 [1975-1977] came along and it was corny but entertaining. Not Star Trek but at least they were trying.
Battlestar Galactica [the original series 1977-1978] took it up a notch, even if Starbuck and Apollo kept crash landing on planets ..... yet they never ran out of vipers.
Then we had the many incarnations of Star Trek: Next Generation [87-94], Deep Space Nine [93-99], Voyager [95-01], and my favourite of the new ones, Enterprise [2001-2005]. Still sucks that they didn't wrap that one up.
And then it all came together into one of the best shows, sci fi or otherwise, on tv, the new Battlestar Galactica [2004-09].
Like the original Star Trek, the writers used their platform to slip hot topics into their storylines. Kirk and gang addressed issues of race and gender roles in the original and the new BG also tackled controversial issues. Did anyone else notice the the human freedom fighters that were labelled terrorists by the cylons? Sci fi is a great stage to subtly tackle social issues of our time, issues that if tackled directly would cause outrage but presented in story form fly below the radar. I even wrote a paper on this very subject for a university course that my prof suggested I try to get published , but that very idea, sci fi as a form of social protest, showed up in a book a couple of years later.
But back to BG. They made sci fi, smart and sexy and they did a great job of wrapping it up ........ well ok, Starbuck coming back as an angel was stretching it but it's not like someone woke up from a dream and they tossed out the previous season
Plus a real good spinoff with a fantastic promo poster
What was your favourite sci fi series? [if you have one]

I got a little sidetracked but it's time to get back to her. I've traveled from her toes, up to her bum, across her back, all around her neck, to the top of her head. Stopped to be mesmerized by her eyes which brings us to her mouth ......mmmmmmmmmm
Kisses that draw you in and leave you wanting more.
Teasing and tantalizing
making you want a taste too,
and then a taste of even more
But when it comes to kissing, remember

campout this coming weekend, should be a blast. Should be 60-80 people attending for one or two nights and the weather looks promising.
Kudos to ours hosts for providing a spot for us and it's up to us to figure out where everyone will stay.
There's a pool for extra fun
and lots of great food.
Good times should be had by all
What do you wear when you sleep in your sleeping bag?

away was nice. Sometimes just a change of scenery is all you need to recharge the batteries.
Did a lot of driving, took care of something important and close to my heart.
Will still have to go back to check that the work being done is satisfactory but I am confident that it is in good hands.
Was able to visit somewhere new, which is always fun,
and meeting and making new friends can't be beat.
Also was reminded that small town people oftentimes assume you know what they are talking about when they are giving you directions
but driving around a small town allows you to see things you wouldn't have otherwise. Can remember playing here as a . Seemed a lot bigger then though
But memories are what make us who we are.
Here's to making more of them

driving home from a long weekend away and kept noticing how many drivers drive in the left hand lane of a divided highway, even when there is no traffic in the right hand one. Or they sit beside the car in the right hand lane, pacing them for a while before passing. Got home and one of the first things that pops up on my computer is this.
Maniacs, idiots and the left lane
The late comedian George Carlin said it best: “Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?”
That driver poking along in the left lane -- cars collecting behind him in a weary conga line -- clearly is not a maniac. Is he simply oblivious, happy in the stress-free lane? Or does he fashion himself a do-gooder, out to thwart speeders?
Whatever's going on, the behavior is so disliked, so vilified, that it prompts a rash of bills from state lawmakers every spring, frustrated by their long drives to the capital. Washington state actually took up an “aggravated left-lane driving” bill in April that would further ramp up existing penalties for left-lane blockers if they are moving under the speed limit.
Chances are you are one of the enraged. And if you're not enraged, you may be part of the problem.
Yes, you can get a ticket for that
Here is the full article if you are curious - http://NoStrings.com#page=1
And as my NS friends commented yesterday, most NS drivers really don't like using their turn signals.

eyes have it. Aye, they can see into your soul,
or right through you.
They can laugh with you
or maybe that wasn't that funny after all.
They can be your partner in crime,
or your conscience.
Your lover,
and your friend.
They can stop you in your tracks
or let you know you failed in seconds flat
Eyes do tell it all, if you're paying attention. So gentlemen, when you're talking to her, look her in her eyes, you just may like what you see in them.

not to be confused with hare. Both are soft and fluffy but the former usually looks and smells much better.
Moving it aside to nuzzle your neck and whisper in your ear to tell you how sexy you look.
Running his fingers through your hair as he washes it for you.
and then holding you afterwards
before the two of you move to another room where he pulls you down for a kiss
and then some
Sometimes he just can't get enough of you
and sometimes you can't
but it's more than just her hair, it's the woman, hair or no hair that makes her sexy
