Well, after spending a really great week in Atlanta with my brother, his family, my parents and my kidlets, I came back to the beauty of Sunday's snow storm....
Was sunny and in the mid60's in Atlanta...We sat on the deck in shirt sleeves, enjoyed a FANTASTIC Thanksgiving dinner and time with family....
Then come back to...snow....ICK...And more of the wonderful white stuff today...YIPEE!!!!
Hope y'all had a great holiday. I'll try to catch up with blog reading and posts soon

Well, the new job is going well; nice bunch of people...Friday was a long day as I had some appointments during the day and a semi-mandatory holiday gathering in the evening.....So Friday ended up being a long one...Have just hung around today in my jammies.....Being lazy and trying to get a few things organized for next week...

OK, I've had this bitch before but of late, it seems like I'm getting flirts from some really ODD profiles...Guy from Ohio looking for a LTR...Ummm, I'm IN a LTR that's committed...Not going to give that up nor am I moving to Ohio....
Or the couple from TURKEY....Ummm, yeah, I'll be right there so we can work on the wifes 3some fantasy....
Just because "cupid" or whot the fuck ever A*F*F appoints to "match" people says we "match" does NOT mean we match.... Can y'all read a profile? I'm pretty sure mine says something along the lines of I'm in a LTR and we are looking to play as a couple....
WHY is that confusing? Do ya really think YOU are gonna be the one to MAKE me change my mind about what and who it is I want? If so, you don't know me well at all as NO ONE makes me change my mind about anything....
I find it annoying, disrespectful and down right rude....

Well, I've been exercising faithfully for a few weeks now and added some new stuff a few days ago and, man, do my ass muscles hurt...Walking lunges...But it's that good hurt... 
Talked to my ADORABLE nephew today. He's ALL kinds of excited that Auntie Winda and the big boys will be at his house soon.... I tried to explain it in terms he'd be able to grasp that if he had his Mom &/or Dad help him, he'd be able to keep track on the calendar and after 9 sleeps, we'd all be there....It was SO cute....

I'm starting to think about what to pack when we all go to Georgia for Turkey Day and am at a loss.....Cold here, not so cold there...If I pack "late spring" stuff, it'll be freezing there but if I pack "late fall" stuff, it'll be hotter than snot on a doorknob.....I know what I'll wear on the plane there and back but it's the time we're there that kills me....I talked to my sis-in-law and she says it's been in the 60's during the day so I guess I'll go with that in mind....OY!!!

Got the offer letter today and sent the signed copy back to the hiring manager so I oficially have a job starting in 2 weeks...YIPEE!!!!!!

I got a notification today that I'd been offered a job I'd had a couple of interviews for...Basically doing the same thing I had been only covering mainly the Madison area instead of anything from Eau Claire to the suburbs of Chicago.
SO, Blue is one happy camper...YEAH!!!! Now perhaps I'll be able to attend some of the Madison area M&G's....YIPEE!!!!!

I'm certainly going to be GLAD as hell when this election is over. I've been getting calls and snail mail from both the RNC & DNC on a nearly continual basis.
I can see calling people who may be uncertain and have asked for more information about a certain candidate but I all ready voted. STOP calling me with automated messages and sending me junk mail that I don't even read...Just look at and toss without reading....
And don't even get me started on the TV ads....Christ almighty....ENOUGH!!!

OK, so being currently unemployed is having its advantages, of sort. I'm getting to sleep in, hang out in my jammies and do a whole lot of not much.
That was OK for about the first week but now, I'm bored silly.... My house is CLEAN, no laundry is undone, the ironing is done....I need to go back to work...soon...or I'll go stir crazy.....

Well, the car is fixed, I've stopped barfing and now just feel queasy all the time but have managed a piece of toast and some 7-up today...Yippe, f-ing skippy...Food commercials on TV make me gag, anything food related in a magazine makes me cringe...
But on the up side, I've lost 7 pounds in 3 days....Have been sleeping hours on end...And NO, I'm NOT preggers...That area of the store was permanently closed years ago....
I'm hoping that tomorrow will be better than today because today was better than yesterday...

There are days I just shake my head at life....or fate or karma or all of the above....I thought being laid off was "bad" enough but the events of the last 4-5 days have given me a new appreciation for the phrase "Shit happens" or "When it rains, it pours"....
After the whole job thing, my only remaining vehicle had an incident and will cost about $950 to fix so until I scrape together the cash, I'm vehicle-less....I have a few cash sources coming in but not quite as quickly as I'd like to get the vehicle back in my posession. It affects not only me but #1 sons ability to get to work so it's pretty sucky right at the moment...
I would really like to just jump into bed, pull the covers up over my head and hibernate till this all gets worked out...

I've long been a HUGE fan of fall as a season. I love the cripness in the air, the changing colors of the leaves, the Indian corn, pumpkins, mums, in costumes.
I love the sounds of leaves crunching under foot as I take my daily walk; the need to wear and extra layer; the chance to snuggle up under a blanket to watch a movie or attending a high school football game.
For me, the changing of the seasons is a time of reflection, introspection and self examination. A time to formulate some new goals, a time to re-evaluate where I'm going in life and how it is I want to get there.....
Enjoy the day, the season and remember to tell someone you care about that you do....No one ever tires of hearing they are cared about.
