Nancy gave birth to a boy on May 9th. He was 8 pounds 4 ounces at birth, healthy and perfect. The birth was done the old fashion way with mother cursing father during every contraction. Mother and baby doing fine. Father in shock and getting no sleep.
We wouldn't change this for anything.

A friend told me I'm lucky to be pregnant in the winter because the summer heat makes being pregnant miserable. It's not fun being pregnant when it's 20 degrees either. My winter coat doesn't fit like it used to and my sweaters are getting stretched out. If I didn't have to work I'd stay in my warm, cozy bed until my baby is born.

I ran into a former co-worker at the store this morning that I haven't seen in a while. She smiled and commented on my baby bump. I have noticed my pants are getting tighter. Either my baby bump developed so slowly or my eyes refused to tell my brain that my stomach is getting bigger, but until this morning I hadn’t noticed.

Nancy here: It ain't just morning sickness, it's all day sickness. I was told to expect some nausea in the morning from being pregnant, but it's going on all day. I'm throwing up a lot. The doctor says I'm doing fine, but try to tell my stomach that.
Anybody have any suggestions? I'm beginning to think trying to get pregnant was a bad idea. Maybe I should have just ordered a baby through Amazon.

Jesse is a truck driver. He mostly does local, daytime, work doing runs from a warehouse to store deliveries within 100 miles of Amarillo. Occasionally he makes trips to eastern New Mexico and western Oklahoma. When he goes out of state he heads out in the evening and returns home in the morning.
