June 52 Ben Franklin proves that lightning is electricity. Good ole Ben really did fly a kite in a storm but it wasn't struck by lightning. I fact Ben noticed that the fibers on the kite string were standing up from the static in the stormy air. He<b> touched </font></b>the key on the string and got zapped from the static. Ben Franklin later designed the lightning rod.
Thank you Ben Franklin for everything that you did for us. Our lives are filled with gadgets full of electricity. Happy Trails and don't fly kites in storms Please. happym;
