Why do men keep their socks on during sex?

One of the things I am most excited about on this site is this Blog Post Page. Very Cool NoStrings - well, maybe ... ? that remains to be seen _lol! This is another space to explore and experiment with all things sexual, with anonymity - LOVE THAT.

Okay we'll start off slow, in the shallow end of the pool. so... Why do men keep their socks on during sex? Seriously, more times than not y'all take everything off but the socks !!!!  A couple of ideas (speculative, because this is very much NOT in my playbook):

A classic passive-aggressive control technique. In the choreography of sexy-time denouement, removing socks can present an awkward pause that deflates the male domination that that is so pervasive these moments.

Nor can we ignore the desire to obscure inadequate personal grooming habits.

Whether it is the former's insecurity or the latter's disrespectful negligence, I see more minuses than pluses in this behavior.

 The warmth improves overall blood flow by dilating blood vessels....can also aid in orgasms.  my guess is a number of reasons, none of which apply to me - first thing I do when I get home is take my shoes and socks (if I'm wearing them) off... but for some guys they may just be in too much of a rush to get naked, for others, perhaps self-conscious about how their feet/toenails look/smell (yuck!), others may just have poor circulation and be cold! But yes, I find it odd as well!
