random thoughts from an addled brain

struggling through the day - had a seizure - stress related - and now have the beat to a pulp aftermath feeling and a killer headache - but i can't sleep - never have been able to nap.

i envy those who can fall asleep anywhere at the drop of a hat. D tells me that power napping is a useful tool for bringing an issue clarity. but, as soon as i lay down, even when i'm tired - if it's before 7:30 at night - my eyes simply will not close.

so, figured i'd blog and bore you all to tears

stuff floating through my brain today:

just finished Cormac Mccarthy's book - The Road and i would recommend it highly - some of the most poignant and some of the most disturbing imagery and dialog i have read in a long while

the song - peg o' my heart - that's my mama's name

my disappointment at having to cancel a dinner with friends - i did so want to have them in my home - to share laughter

why do short men need to be bullies?

i was told something about a friend that i really do NOT want to know - wishing i had an erase button in my brain

jim40plus is back - i'm glad - i missed him - now where the hell is pcchamp???

meditation keeps me sane

i need a vacation or maybe just a week at the phunny pharm

i smoke way less when i'm home - odd, no?

when you've had an electrical discharge - food tastes much, much better -

do men never ever put a new roll of toilet paper on? why is that?

i need to feel loved like a fish needs water

i hate not having a back up book to read

so, are you as bored as me yet?

later blogville - need to stop looking at the screen - bleech

I recently heard reported a nap (siesta) is mitigating of an heart attack. I believe it... I ain't dead - yet.

As for men and toilet paper... they don't bother because women will simply reverse the rotation so the paper peels off the back side instead of off the front side. Men just wait for the roll to appear - already mounted inappropriately. It's a matter of conservation of energy by way of applied pragmatism.

Solar...

Ahhh...you really need to take better care of yourself, my friend.

Now, my curiosity is piqued...does the release with pain cause the same kind of "stress-related" symptoms.

No problem if you don't answer immediately, but I hope to hear from you sometime soon.

Hey, do you know a great Dominant who can give me my maiden voyage as a sub in Vegas at [post 706135]?

Take care!

That sucks. I knew a guy who used to get seizures a lot. Does your doctor know what's causing them?

Hope you feel better soon.

I am a napper...have been ever since I had Mono in college. I can sleep pretty much anywhere, anytime (okay...well...there are some places and some times when it won't ever happen...but you know what I mean.)

Short men...that Napoleon complex thing...known plenty of 'em...they need to be smacked...

I'm glad Jim is back too.

Hmmm...phunny pharm...great name for a resort!! I know I need a vacation...

Kids never replace an empty roll of TP either.

Fish...water...love...agree with ya on that one...

I have too many back up books to read...and I bought more yesterday!! I have two I have started and not finished...one I gave up on...I hate leaving things unfinished...

Hope you have a great weekend, WE!!

I have *too many* backup books waiting in line. Three of 'em, to be exact. Kind of the literary equivalent of "my eyes are bigger than my stomach" and putting too much food on your plate...

Ahhhhhh the pieces of your puzzle are beginning to form a picture of Oui(WE).

WARNING: MAN ON SOAPBOX!!!

My dear, sweet, wonderful woman, we all need love, every one of us and in a way we can not only understand, but feel in our body and bones. Science is showing that people who have it live longer, healthier lives. Tests show that having Love in our lives makes us happier, more sane.

What's more we all deserve love, no matter what we've done, no matter what anyone says or has said. If you love your man, then you want him to love you the way you need love. Talk to him Oui. Show him AND YOURSELF it's good to give/receive sweetness as well as pain, especially at this time of transition. If there's any way possible, take a little time for yourself. Get away from your immediate envrionment for an overnight if possible.
OK I'm off the box - but please, take care of yourself and/or let others care for you. Yes Oui?

Now about the TP roll and the said replacement of it...there is a right and wrong way? Sheesh now I have heard everything...*giggles*
It comes off the roll ..end of story...like talk about sweating the small stuff... would those that see it as a problem be "anal " about it?
I'm just saying ..no proof yet but..sure looks headed in that direction
Take care dear *hugs*

I'm thinking a week or two at the funny farm sounds better than a regular vacation about now.

I don't do stress seizures, but I do the panic attacks. Sucks...

i always mount my toilet paper so it rolls off the front. i hate trying to find it in the back. it just doesn't come off the same way. and, if i have to be the only one to restock the paper to get it this way, then so be it

WE ... short men SUCK !! my first husband was short, (5'5" ). i vowed i would never date another short man. he has to be @ least 5'9" or 5'10". and yes i know that isn't real tall, but for a 4'10" woman, it is. most of my dates are 6' tho. K is 6'3"

and the old saying goes, "a woman without a man is like a fish without a bike"

~hugs~ WE have a nice weekend.

tell me what you're reading....

Well, the book that I was reading and just quit, cuz it sucked, was Tyranasaur Canyon by Douglas Preston. Just didn't "grab" me.

So, now I am reading Next by Michael Crighton. It is interesting, but not the best Crighton book I have read.

On my reading list (sitting on my bookshelf calling to me) are Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Angela's Ashes, a novel about Mary Magdalene (can't recall the name), and a book of writings by Machiavelli. Hmmm...pretty odd mix of books, huh?
