How is it that it says I have had say 45 views to my blog and yet only 2 or 3 visitors logged as recent viewers since the blog was posted?????

 The data bases are run separately. Give it a few hours and the numbers should match to a reasonable degree. Be advised, however, that one person can be counted multiple times. It is my understanding that merely leaving a comment counts as three visits because your blog page is viewed three times (once to read the comment and twice as part of the comment posting process).
