 If you are asking, you probably already know the answer but are looking for justification. Is she worth loosing you job over?

Also, your profile shows you as part of a couple. What does your partner think about what you want to do?? Is she all for it? Have you talked it over with her? You might want to get her take on this questions as well, as the repercussions will involve her as well.
