What do you think?

So chatting......not sure what to do here. When I chat with someone, I’m respectful. I know what this site is about......but in the end, we’re all humans and should be afforded a certain amount of respect. But here’s my conundrum......I don’t know how to approach it. I’d prefer to keep it clean and find out about the person, but sometimes I think that’s looked at as being boring. And I have no idea what to do with the one word answers. “Ok”, “fine”.

So I guess I’m asking for help on how I should approach a chat....what do you think?

 I agree about it being difficult to start a chat . Even Have some people that have requested to be friend and then won’t even chat hello...and they are not standard members......

 Thanks for your input. I think I’m just gonna be me, and talk how I normally talk to a person. Unfortunately a lot of questions can lead to short answers. It’s all about the recipients level of interest in keeping the conversation going, I guess.

I’m also not one to use all of the abbreviations, hate it when I misspell something, or it’s not grammatically correct. I wonder if that either bores, or intimidates others. But that’s another topic altogether.....
