Leaking Like A Sieve... My whole family has been sick this winter off and on with various flus, stomach issues (nausea, cramps etc.)...normal seasonal things that go around. This past week has been none other than the common cold, inflicting on it's victims various aches and pains, stuffy feeling, runny nose, hoarse throat and cough. I have been largely unaffected by any of the other things that have gone around, for whatever reason, but I officially contracted the cold bug last evening. I was pretty tired and I loaded up on Advil Cold and Sinus pills (Nighttime) and didn't miss a beat, slept good and through the night. I was stuffed up this morning so I took several (three) more and headed off to work. About 11:00 AM, the drugs started wearing off and I of course was not smart enough to take any to work...so out came the sniffles, and the headache, and the "Thab you por calling XYZ Corp, my nabe ith GodIFeelLikeThit, how can I heb you?" Usually I would have to cough or sneeze or blow my nose half way through that intro, or at the very least sometime when said customer was telling me why they called. No matter how much I tried to suck it back or expel it out, my nose would not quit running...I was leaking like a sieve. At one point the thought crossed my mind to to try out what women have been raving about for years...they sounded perfect from the ad I read at lunchtime today. In the end however, I decided to just leave work early, load up on drugs and wallow in my misery with a box of Kleenex in reach. Besides, I had to fish a tampon OUT of a girl one time after packing it deep inside her by accident...  ...but I'm not sure I could successfully install one for her, let alone one in each nostril for myself... How has your day been? The cold or flu bug gotcha yet? I was so happy that I had avoided all the illness' of the winter season. Then I basically fell over dead with a heart attack so..... Next year I am hoping for the flu. I had a dream my life would be So different from this hell I'm living So different now from what it seemed Now life has killed the dream I dreamed    RAInBow

Take care of yourself sexy, lots of fluids, sex, & rest! I don't think they make tampons small enough for your nose but that's a good idea for a new product...lol...nose tampons for the really runny nose...lmao As for my day, it's been storming here, and my neck is killing me so I took some good drugs and will be headed back to bed soon. Having to fish things out, once or twice in my youth I forgot about a tampon and had to have some longer male fingers retrieve it but other than that nope. Take care and feel better soon.  my husband went fishing a couple of times  make a brown sugar rum and butter mixture and eat it!!!! I have been lucky as heck as i do not get colds or flues!!!lucky me!!! but got dam near ran over today..the man hit me in the hend with his truck mirro as he turned and gunned it LOL he ruined my umbrella!!!! How has your day been? good--fairly productive The cold or flu bug gotcha yet? not yet, but I've gotten a few allergies to the pollen Ever had to "go fishing" for anything?... Had a weird infection in the back of my throat. Went to an ear/nose/throat specialist who fished out a wooden splinter from my soft palate--it was from a Marine Band harp with a wooden comb. Now I only play the harps with plastic combs especially the Special 20s. I heard this supposedly true story a long time ago: A woman carried both her tampons and her big bonus trading stamps in her handbag. I've managed to avoid sickness this winter season (knock on wood)... and actually got out for a bike ride yesterday... Snow started melting in the Prairies? That's OK... It started falling out here AGAIN!!!! Bike rides postponed til next sunny day

COLD FX whether its a a cold or a flu bug they help boost your immune system. First day take 3 with the 3 meals, second day, take 2 with the 3 meals third day take 1 with each meal, then one everyday. Never had to fish for anything but fish and still don't like fishing, I'd rather swim for hours instead, but thats just me....

Sorry your not feeling well. All I have at the moment is sneezing 5 times in a row, which usually wouldn't phase me but I had surgery back in February. I have 3 incisions from my left shoulder blade around to my side. Everytime I sneeze it pulls something back there and the sneeze comes out with an soorted variety of curse words attached. btw TSS, I've never had a patient that got it from leaving a tampon in too long. I have seen it though and God "I" wanted to stuff a tampon in that woman cause she had so much pus running out of her.... ewwwwww

Last week, while NO one was at work yet, I stuffed my nose with tissue. When you finally DO pull it out... YIKES!

I've been experiencing a *lost weekend*. I ate some of the best Calamari I ever tasted in my life Friday night and unfortunately, that is likely to be the last of it I will ever eat. Allergic reaction. It's a hellofaway to get a rest taking benedryl! Has knocked me out! Not taking it today. Feeling better.... I can't believe that Kleenex Corp (ain't them the ones who make Tampax?) haven't figured out that ShamWOWS would absorb quite a bit more than mere cotton inserts or paper nose rags... and they're reuseable. Ah, yes. Reuseable. That's probably why they haven't come out with the Sham-Cram or the Sham-d-Snotter -- no repeat business... what with that ten-year guarantee, and all. Solar...
