 You do have a point, but the person that used to do my ex's was 1st generation here legally from the Philippines, and when my ex asked her WHY she did such work, she said in clear english, that she made more in actual take home pay from one job then she could have made in the Philippines in a month, and still would have had to pay off the various government officials that ALLOWED her to have a job at all. As a US citizen now, she has managed to bring several of her family legally to the USA, getting them out of the poverty cycle they grew up in. AND, that if she didnt do this job, properly licensed and trained, some illegal person would be doing it for slave wages, which would likely lead such a woman into prostitution.
The first doctors did jobs that no one else would do, now it is the biggest industry in our country, possibly the world, and anyone knowing about surgery would agree it can be a very disgusting & sicking biz indeed. If not for those pioneers in medicine, where would we be today. All jobs must have a pioneer, even the garbage collectors, so a person doing waxing should get no less respect than any one else doing a legal & honest job in our society !
