I've never blogged drunk, but I do like to blog stoned. I use spell check, but that's the only thing have, I just type it and let it fly.
Ahhh... Letting it fly. ๐Ÿ˜Š
I think it's more 'doable' with the herb ๐ŸŒฟ as opposed to the liquid ๐Ÿฅƒ.
So THAT'S, your trick! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ‘โ—

I was going to say, "Cheers", but I'll just say, "Good night". ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ‘ ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ˜Ž

Nope, I have never blogged while drunk, not even tipsy. I rarely drink and never alone.
I too, create my writings in Word first so I can review and edit before posting. Have also learned some tricks to prevent certain words being dropping by the site.

Good for you. ๐Ÿ˜Š You tipsy? ๐Ÿค”
My posts aren't messed with but I do recall some of the tricks that I had to use.
Do you feel like sharing any of yours?
I like Word, although Grammarly is a good back up. Have you ever used it? ๐Ÿค”

No I am not tipsy and if I was, I certainly wouldn't be on here blogging or commenting . I have never used Grammarly and I am sure you don't need any of my tips.

So your question about 'tricks' was rhetorical? Some conversations should be private. Isn't that why most bloggers have a private mail box?

I go in the chat room and i have had a few on a Friday night but I do not drink when I do a Blog

Writing will definitely not be possible with alcohol. A drink will do either of two things, make me drowsy or in the mood. But now that I think of it, I have posted photos of me featuring various alcoholic beverages so technically I do drink and blog !
I will have a margarita now that it's in the middle of summer.

That's true, or emails or phones. Which one do you prefer? ๐Ÿค”

Rhetorical? No, I was wondering if there were any tricks you wanted to share publically. I think I've found them all, but hey, I might have missed a few.

Good drink choice. I lean towards those pineapple ๐Ÿ vodka slushies, myself.

Meaningful communication happens on the phone. I prefer spontaneous conversations where someone has to 'think on their feet' instead of having time to re-think and edit. No doubt, you have all the 'tricks' up your sleeve.

    There's no way around that.
But, with all due respect - ya had a good point. After, I'd read what you went through, I changed my pov.
Yep. You have a good point. Now,
should I say, "Thanks for pointing that out?."
Sure. I never should have said 'never'.

In any case... I understand what you're saying.

It's about modifying the future based on the past. I'm working on it.
Thanks for sharing and pointing out which direction I should be headed., ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜Ž โ— ๐Ÿ˜˜
1. You leave three completely different responses to my comment but only the first one appears here. I'm not sure what your intention is with that, but I'll reply to the visible first one.
2. The paragraph in which you claimed never to drink and post seems different to when I first read it. Indeed, in conjunction with my comment and your visible response it could now be inferred that it was my fault that you chose to leave irresponsible and inappropriate comments on my blog at a time when I could have done without them, with what seemed to be nothing more than self-aggrandising intent. In your subsequent so-called apology you took little or no responsibility for your actions.
3. My point was not to say 'never say never'. It was to ask for clarity - do you or don't you post when drinking - and to offer some help to you in finding something that seems to elude you - that being humility. Thank you for confirming what I already knew, what I think most people you go at already know, that your words are often written somewhat injudiciously when youโ€™re under the influence of alcohol. If you are genuinely interested in trying to learn the true meaning of humility and understanding, please feel free to visit a post I did a few weeks back about the pinnacle of racism. A gentleman called Forgetforgetting left the most amazing comment Iโ€™ve ever read from anyone here, demonstrating a level of humility which is astonishing in the circumstances, something to which I can only aspire. Iโ€™ll be happy to chat further when youโ€™ve acquired the merest fraction of it, alcohol-free too, of course.

In the meantime, I donโ€™t really have much more to say that wouldnโ€™t fan the flames and perhaps stoke what appears to be the disproportionate value you place on notoriety and fame. Oops, I just said it.

1. My objective? Two thoughts came to mind after โ€˜quotingโ€™ you, so I added them as โ€˜commentsโ€™ rather than โ€˜quotesโ€™. There was no need for redundancy and clutter.

2. Is your goal to chafe at an old wound? Iโ€™ve already apologized to you. Am I now supposed to recall (verbatim) what I wrote two years ago, reflect on it - and offer another apology? Could self-aggrandizing intent be applied to your remarks herein? Or, letโ€™s take this off-line and study the details together - someplace where they serve good coffee?

3. I hardly need a libation to - as you put it - โ€˜go atโ€™ people. As for their perceptions and opinions, everyone is entitled to their own. Humility? Yepโ€ฆ got tons of that as well. I also employ quite a bit of self-deprecating humor and sarcasm in everything I write. I understand sarcasm, in particular - although the simplest form of the chuckle - requires some intelligence to digest. I frequently make fun of myself, this island, and its inhabitants. Some people take themselves too seriously, including you perhaps?

โ€œโ€ฆdisproportionate value you place on notoriety and fameโ€ฆโ€ - there ya go again. Thatโ€™s my sarcasm and its poked out and painted the wrong picture for you. No worriesโ€ฆ Iโ€™ll write more s l o w l y in the future.

I'll read that gentlemanโ€™s remarks. Thanks for popping in. Drop by any time.

Yes, your 'tons' of humility really shine through clear as the morning sunshine in your comment on this post:

And the beat goes on

Such a shame for you that you can't go back and change those words though, eh?
