I don't know if we can have real role models like we used to, everybody has some dirt under their fingernails, and sooner or later someone finds out, courtesy of the information age.

True! ð I agree... ð I guess... I look at society has broadened that definition to include "epic" gestures and acts of sacrifice... and you're right. They don't have to be THAT. They can be every day moments... and I see them every day. I see ordinary people everyday doing some unexpected things like helping an elderly couple in a parking lot with a cartful to the Home Depot clerk who went the extra mile when I needed help. Those folks are the real role models of today's society. They have not forgotten what kindness is and that counts far more then being famous. I am the "black sheep" in my family because I would not conform to the "norm" and thank goodness I made my own path. I am much wiser and nicer than most of my family and they still remain quite critical. I feel badly that they never learned to like themselves enough to pay goodness forward (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

I suppose Paul, if somebody earned to be a celeb, like a singer with a terrific voice and oogles of charisma, (guess that woul be luck as well), anyway, they deserve to have fans! They worked "hard", and guess most of us need to be recognized and appreciated, whoever and whatever we may be? Role models, the people we can truly admire - Okay, my bedtime again and not sure I'm making much sense here, but an interesting Blog this!  ..... And always 'hold onto all those sexy thoughts'!
