Been there - when my emotions and my libido were all turned off. But it's more like being on sabbatical. They're still there just on a low simmer. With the right heat, I'm sure you'll be able to reach full boil again. Unfortunately, no way to predict that. Keep the faith. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I have just accepted that I am not really attractive enough for the women tat I am interested in so like you I have just decided that long run it hurts less to just be disinterested Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

My own experience was that toward the end of a long term relationship my libido seemed dead...thought it was because I was middle aged...a few months after we broke up, it came back. But I certainly get that in your current situation, it's almost more convenient to not feel horny.

I thought that my net was pretty wide, but mostly limited by being a woman, not being closer to my mothers or my daughters age than my own and at least claiming to iive within 100 miles of me and beyond that I didn't have all that many exclusions to at least meet. and over the course of 3 years I have had fewer than 5 responses. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

Before I answered I had to go look, as well as I am allowed to now, to be sure but I have never gotten a message from a woman before, discounting the model beautiful obviously professional pictured profiles from Asia or Europe who claim to be women often younger than my daughter looking for "true love" . And this is not my first profile, .though it seems like it will be my last, they have had a similar theme but different arrangements. I wish that I had saved them but sadly I haven't. I have let my membership here go, because it hadn't worked for me. I am keeping the profile not so much so that I could maybe meet someone but because I enjoy exchanges with people that odds are I am never going to meet. Meanwhile in the real world I will just keep doing what I enjoy and if I stumble across a woman that is interested at least we will both already be doing something that we enjoy and be in the same physical place. maybe the rest will work out somehow. Women have changes in their hormones, and the switch goes to "Retired". Men have the same deal, and men want to reach for a pill , and risk a heart attack. If a young 20 something , male or female reads this, enjoy your ability to have sex at a moments notice. Appreciate it, because when you get old.... you'll miss that ability.

I have been there and done that, but it was a long time ago. I'm married now and I have a solid connection, plenty of juices still flowing there. But it can be a vicious circle. You get depressed so your libido gets depressed too. You can't get laid or even cuddle so you get more depressed, further suppressing your sex drive...Yes, I've been there.
