The start of her new life So, much has happened in the past few weeks since I arrived here in Southern California visit my . It has all been quite dramatic. My Francie's husband Carl passed away quite suddenly after being ill for a few days. He suffered a massive coronary while undergoing tests at a heart surgical centre after being taken there upon falling ill while visiting his and grandchildren. It was quite a shock all of us and happened a little over 2 weeks ago now. All the accompanying arrangements have taken place since with his cremation and ashes being placed with his first wife which is what my and Carl's wanted. I won't go into much more detail,only to say that Carl left my well provided for with a home,cars and investments, the bulk of his and his first wife's estate had gone their upon his wife's demise . My has gone back work full time in the accounting profession here locally with a firm she had been working part time for. My husband missed the funeral as he could not get back from a business trip overseas in time but he did arrive back last Thursday before this past long weekend. It has been interesting watch our 's grieving process,she is less sentimental than her father and me but I suspect that might be a generational thing given she is in her late 30s. She conducted herself throughout her husband's passing and the burial and legal aftermath with her usual accounting precision, a place for everything and everything in it's place. She and Carl were not even together for a year and had only been married a few months but as I learned she had a long time sexual relationship with Carl and his late wife from the time she was in college. I think the brevity of the relationship in the past months will help her move on quickly. She has never been a girl who carried a lot of emotional baggage with her. The wake and funeral proved interesting for both my and I as she received several offers of marriage from Carl's friends and we both received several offers of opportunities for affairs from married men  . There were also lots of longtime couples from the lifestyle who attended as well, couples with whom my husband and I have been friends with for decades.Francie was very glad when her father finally got here,as was I ,as we both needed his comfort and love after the couple of weeks we had. Sorry to hear of your daughters husband's passing. Sad when it happens so suddenly, there is no time to prepare for it. Even when expected, it is difficult. I read your and your daughter's blog. I find it very interesting to get your perspective on what is considered a very taboo subject. Perhaps that is why you get so few comments. Many lurkers like myself tittilated by the subject but afraid to post a comment. I suppose that sex with family members is taboo in our society but when it is between consenting adults, as your daughter is now grown and can make that decision for herself, it doesn't seem so bad. Live and let live. Would be awesome to be thrown in to a situation sometime in the future when I was having sex with a beautiful woman such as yourself, and her daughter walked in on us and joined us. I'm sure I would be taken aback at first, but I'm also sure I would get over it PDQ and thoroughly enjoy the moment.
