It's just a mask, people.
It's just a mask, people. I'm not asking you to strip naked and wear nipple clamps to shop, I'm asking you to wear a fucking mask. The governors new edict has made it mandatory that businesses require customers to wear a mask. If we do not, we can find ourselves closed down. For the most part, customers have been amazing. Many are saying, Finally! Some are saying, I don't really agree, but I'll wear it. Then there are these guys.... I was manning the door when Joe Asshole came walking through amongst a crowd of about 10 other random people, he was not wearing a mask. "Excuse me sir. It is now required by law that our customers wear proper face coverings to shop here." "You ain't making me wear a mask! I have COPD and if you make me wear a mask to shop I'm going to be shooting people!" He was yelling at the top of his lungs... Several of the customers had a concerned look on their face as they looked right at me, I looked right at Joe Asshole. Phone in hand, I was already dialing for assistance and easing the customers as they walked past. Joe Asshole didn't miss a beat, with three trailing behind him, he breezed right past me and into the store. All I could think of was, what in the fuck kind of example is this guy setting for these ?? Douche!! It was decided by management that the cops needed to be involved because of the nature of the threat. While he may not have brandished a weapon, he was threatening physical violence within a crowd of people, included. So, the cops came. Two police vehicles parked in the front of the store and watched Joe Asshole leave with his . It turns out, both cops knew who this guy was and recognized his vehicle. He'd apparently had run ins with them in the past... The only thing that saved him today, at that moment, was the fact that he had his with him. We were instructed by the officers that they would be paying a visit to Joe Asshole later on tonight to take care of the situation. Here's the thing.... I don't want to wear this mask any more than you do, yet, here I am. If you don't want to wear the mask, you don't need to shop wear I work. Pure and simple. |

I work delivery, and I wear a mask for every stop. It's not that hard. Anti-mask idjits are selfish bastards who literally don't give a rat turd about other people's health and safety.

You my dear are what is known as a sheep.Someone who NEVER does their own research. Someone who thinks that if you see it on mainstream news,it's real. I implore you to grow up ! This"pandemic" is completely fake. It's the latest bid by the elite to completely control the world and the lives of all people. Ask yourself why they would shut down the entire world for a virus that is 99.7 % survivable. But people like you never wake up.Your reaction to me,(someone who it trying to tell you the truth) is that I'm just an asshole. if you think everyones an asshole, its you. similarly, if "everyone" thinks YOURE an asshole, guess what ? "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

I work retail where we have to have a mask. In the store we are face to face with customers, maybe 1.5 to 2 feet away during a long transaction. Some people may have a ton of reasons why the mask does not work, I don't give a shit. I do know this, if a person on either side of the counter coughs without a mask on someone is getting a face full of crap. I don't need that in my life. Before all this happened I have seen customers sneeze and cough in their hands then handle the products which I have to grab to buy away when they are done. Customers only have to wear the mask while in the store in theory, I have to wear it all damn day. It sucks but I would rather wear it than not. I had one asshole that came in with the mask on his bald head, he gave me shit when I asked him to cover his mouth and nose. Others say they will cover their face with their shirt but once in the store they don't hold their shirt up. Most of these anti mask people I have seen are over 50. One guy called and told me that he was disappointed that we would require masks. Implying he thought we should be the resistance. Thanks for taking my time away from work jerkface. If you don't like it don't come in the store. We got all the business we can handle. I also love the fact that I don't have to shake anyone's hands, filthy bastards.

It's a similar situation over here in the UK. There are some who never seem to get the message.

As I keep repeating, from a nurse rellie in the US, if someone doesn't like wearing a mask they'll like the ventilator even less! Apart from anything else, science or otherwise (though any reduction in risk no matter how small has to be seen as a benefit), surely it's a simple matter of respect to other people to wear one? Chuck them oot the shop, they can go elsewhere!

Makes sense... ! Yep... I saw a mosquito ... stuck in my car today. It's the same mosquito I saw yesterday and the day before. He's been there for three days now.Mosquitoes live for 7 days. That means he's spent the better part of 43% of his life stuck in my Honda. Who knows how much longer he'll be living. I kinda feel sorry for him when I stop, park and turn off the radio and the engine and close the lights and lock the doors. I wonder what he does when I'm not there? Probably buzzes around trying to find a way out. What a life... I wonder if he'll be there tomorrow morning? I wonder who's life is sadder...? His ... or mine...

and people who DO have diminished lung capacity for whatever reason, god bless you in your struggles, BUT youre the LAST people who should risk catching this shit. thats like physically disabled people who dont want to wear seat belts because "i need more time to get out" after an accident. NO, you need even more than others NOT to be thrown around inside a vehicle during a crash so you CAN get out afterwards. its so easy, apparently, for so many of us to think things out backwards, its like we have cultural dyslexia. i worked in a retail store and every day was amazed how many people couldnt pick something up and put it back down without turning it around or upside down. ? thats not even math, its "whats wrong with this picture?" oh, but we can play our video games, cant we? BE SAFE OUT THERE EVERYONE. and to everyone to whom everyone is "just someone else", YOU are all "just someone else" to them. lets all start treating each other better than that. peace and love "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

Or, better yet, if he doesn't want to wear it, he doesn't shop in my store. I'm stuck wearing my mask 9 hours a day. I dont feel sorry for the fact that it's a 20 minute inconvenience for him.

Amen. I don’t know the minutiae of the mask law in your state, but here in California there are exceptions to the rule. Most larger businesses have posted banners and signs explaining which groups of people are exempt from wearing a face mask. Putting aside whether a mask is actually going to help protect you from exposure to the virus, it comes down to one simple fact: why not wear it just on the off chance it does indeed help? Is it ego to not want to wear one? Or a firmly held conviction that it is wrong to wear one? If anyone knows, by all means please let me know

I see those guys every day.

If you laid a government check on the ground most of these assholes would crawl thru porcupine shit with 2 masks on to grab it...

lose a lung and see how that feels when ppl squeal about wearing a mask ..then lose 12% of your lung capacity when you put one on..not so much fun i bet for those ppl..keep on squealing

There are always going to be people like this, One, they think that they are to good to obey, Two, they have the right to do what ever they want to do or They just don't care about any thing or any one even themselves. Most of the time they live a miserable life. any way, have a good day and be safe.

This guy wanted to be an asshole and make a scene. Like he was proving a point... Those that truly are ill, shop at the designated times for the immuno compromised and elderly.
