Windows 7 ----> Windows 10

Windows 7 ----> Windows 10 Okay... So my reason for being on NoStrings is to blog. I always considered my blogs as "Photo Blogs" Last Monday I changed my operating system from Windows 7 to Windows . All because Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7. My only problem is I can't download or transfer any photos to various sites or in emails... Yes, it's very frustrating... Good Luck I saw that Microsoft was not going to support Windows 7 so I can understand you making the change.

I had Vista before I had to move up to Windows eight. Vista had much better photo tweaking setup than 8 has. Sounds like ten's is crappier yet. No doubt if Windows was a car they will soon be saying "Oh, you want wheels with that?" If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

I am running into similar situation with windows media player in 10 . It won’t cure cds that are readable in other devices.

Hi there. I have seen a few bloggers complaining about Windows 10. I have used it since the start and have never had a problem with it. I don't have trouble downloading or transferring images. I wonder what I'm doing differently.  ~~Anais Nin~~

sadly Holly, Win 10 takes away a lot of things we had come to take for granted as part of the operating system playing DVDs is one of them .. also, i HEAR that it is not possible to turn off automatic updates ... gotta LOVE MS

I actually have two computers- one with 7, and the other with 10. I am not gonna worry about the Windows 7 laptop... just keep my data hacked up on an external drive.

With Windows 10 u have to drag and drop photos in most cases! And Yes, the whole filing system is different! Updates can no longer be turned off because so many of the problems being reported was a result of updates not being loaded! My last official function in the computer world was upgrading to Windows 95....LMAO! I miss the money, that's why they were down sizing us, but not the job!

Had to buy a new laptop due to lose of windows 7 !! Laptop was 12 years old and did not have capability of upgrading to newer windows !! Have had new laptop for couple of months now and seems like every time I get on ; I'm having to upgrade this or that
