Mischief Night
Mischief Night - October 30th

also known as Devil's Night, Gate Night Goosey Night, Moving Night, Cabbage Night, Mat Night etc...

Something us did in the 60's and 70's.

We were harmless - didn't do much more than throw toilet paper over trees, soap window, Toss eggs.

Not sure if it still happens anymore.

 Never forget the night that I and the rest of the University of New Mexico marched up that residential street playing the UNM Fight Song to the front door of the band director!!!!

 I think it's just a Jersey thing. We did it growing up. My kids did (although they just TP'd the trees in our yard). I didn't see any evidence of it this year though. I hope it continues. Love your blog btw. As someone who lives near the beach, I get it.
