To shave or not to shave that is the question

Please help me make a decision serious inquiries only please, I'm very hairy most men say they love the fact that I'm hairy and some like it shaved what should I do stay hairy or make it smooth.

 waxing or sugaring only certain areas and then lightly trim them DO NOT shave
