im sooo glad (and proud of you) that youre keeping on after what must have been a devastating loss. im following the rules and guidelines, am very wary when i do go to the store, so i cant imagine making new hookups now. its just not worth it. too much at stake. and. as you so sagely posted, YES, our grandparents were called to WAR and there are those who bitch about staying home? BUT IN ALL FAIRNESS, i have to admit, as a retired, no-kids empty-nester, i probably dont have the same economic hardship as others. BUT even if i had to go to work, i SURE AS HELL WOULD NOT do so without masks and social distancing UNTIL the medical professionals say its okay in my location. and unprotected at the shore (beach)? no fucking way until advised otherwise. and NOT by personal-freedom-over-safety, vote-for-me predator trump! "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

Joy - so sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathies to you, your daughter and son in law. Social distancing does work, we need to continue to do so to slow this monster down. Take precautions, wear a mask to not only protect you, but protect others from you as you could be an asymptomatic carrier. Glove up as well and do not throw the gloves on the ground throw them out in the garbage. Look on line for donning (putting on) and duffing (taking off) gloves and masks to reduce your exposure and by all means wash your hand at least 20 second of lathering before rinsing. I was assisting with ambulance calls as a driver taking patients to the hospital until someone told them I had diabetes - since Im considered high risk they no longer allow me to assist which sucks because they need the help. Stay safe, stay healthy

COVID-19 has not directly effected me, yet. I pray it doesn't. I'm sorry it has hit your family and do hope our SiL will be okay. I'm not going to say we'll be fine, because we won't. But all I can do right now is offer you a virtual JerBear HUG!

Being one of the folks in the high risk percentage I am staying in unless I rally have to go into a place. Yesterday I used the drive-thru pharmacy.. Tomorrow I will take a very quick run into a store that only let's the "geriatric crowd" in before they open. They have made the aisles one way in-out so there is no crowding and they sanitize each cart before you take it and when you return it. I write my list in the order the store is laid out so I can speed shop and not linger. I will see how may assholes show up without masks. WalMart will not let you in without them (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

I miss playing poker. Been a while even before COVID Virus It's impacting me from seeing siblings' kids and family and also from going to the office. I am self-employed and can work from home so I am making the best of it. I think everyone is tired of Netflix and Chill PornHub and Rub but I prefer to play it safe and not take a chance on endangering my life or someone else's life. Sorry for your loss again and hopefully time will heal the hounds
