Inspiration From Literature

Inspiration come to me
Let it come
In something I read
Or see.
If literature makes the case
So be it
I will give thanks
And dedication.
Like Jane Eyre
Or Madame Bovary
Mystery or ennui.
Like the Scarlet Letter
Or Great Gatsby
Sacrifice and the costs
Of a love that is unhealthy.
Modern day eroticism
Is open open open
For our eyes
To visualize
And enthusiastically embrace
Our sexuality.

I wrote this in response to another blogger's post. MulleenofMelb He is an absolute gem of a poet. Seriously if you have not read his blog posts of his poetry, you are missing out. I am not a of his work so much as I want others to see that NoStrings has an extraordinary writer of poetry among it's bloggers.
