An Open Message to SandraD

Hello Sandra,

I’ve read some of your postings and replies to others, you come across as smart and strong. I have not seen the accusations and won’t look for them. What is more important is that I see you have been hurt and are planning on leaving. That makes many people here sad.

You do not have to defend yourself. Since the accusations are not true then they are not about you. They only reflect who or whatever the accuser is. The other people who read your postings have a better idea and appreciation for who you are. You matter and they matter – the rest is just noise.

As far as the site is concerned, personally I have very few expectations of them. They are a business in an unregulated space (the net). Their primary focus is to make money anything more is unfortunately unrealistic.

We, Americans & Canadians too (I believe), have the Right of Free Speech. A part of those rights include being able to say things that others, many others, will not like. That includes bullying and haters. Bullies will be on the net no matter what any of us do. Is it necessary? NO. Can you get away from it? Given the context of sexually based sites probably not.

So what “should” you do? Like I said I’ve read some of postings replies to others about how some people here act. You have essentially said block them. As you can see many people will miss you, so you lose something you have enjoyed and they lose the same. If you allow haters to dictate what you do – they win.

I cannot tell you what to do. So I have a personal request of you – stay and enjoy what you do. Ignore/block or whatever, anyone who doesn’t appreciate what you do. I hope you will remain strong and take the advice you have given others. If your is paying attention to this it will set a strong example for her to follow.

Odd thing is the person, who someone mentioned today was the bully, usually doesn't come across that harsh.

 Well said Red... I only wish that someone would do something on this site with the bully's because they do exist.. They are running good bloggers off the site because of all the BS... So she loves to post nude photos.. They are lovely and sensual... She also has some good content in her blog that is truly worth reading. If she leaves we have lost a good one here.. Both my hubby and myself have really enjoyed her blog. This is coming from both a female and male perspective.. I wish there was something us bloggers could do for this wonderful lovely lady.
