I never knew if I was being flirted at, or someone was just being friendly, or that was their natural persona. I always assumed it wasn't the former and was either of the latter options.

i am awful with this in person figuring out flirting thing. i've been told i'm a little intimidating. i work in a really male dominated field and everyone is like how can you not find a man? literally... some of these men do not have teeth. i had a supervisor who asked out a customer and ended up marrying her. i don't have stories like that. her in blog things are a bit more obvious and bonk on the head that someone is trying to get my attention... but i think i'd be garnering those comments on a site like this if i was wearing clothes. LOL.

Flirting is great. It's an art form when done properly. There can be all kinds of reasons why someone doesn't pick up on it or respond further. Bad day, schedule pressure at work, recent breakup, or simply distracted by something else going on. I love to flirt when someone else is reciprocal with it but there can be lots of reasons why it doesn't go any further, many of which are simply timing related. Here's another question. If you are in a relationship is it ok to flirt with someone else? I get a lot of different answers to that from different people.

Does flirting on the phone count?? I am working from home so have no interaction with people face to face these days... lots of phone calls and zoom meetings though. I have been working from home since mid March and am tired of the set up I have and since word is I might be working from home for the foreseeable future... I am finally breaking down and buying some actual office furniture. The last of it arrives tomorrow.
