'That's the reason why

Most of us have ailments, some we have no control us. Or do we? Don't feed into an ailment, it would grow and consume us. I have an aunt who was diagnose with cancer over 40 years ago. She refused kimo, and kept her job. She had four at that time, she said, she's going to see them get married, and live long enough to enjoy her future grand . Months later, she was cancer free. Mind over matter. If it's not in your mind, it don't matter. Her purpose was and still is, is her family, and she fulfilled her "purpose". She still alive. I have tons of ailments. I have arthritis in my knees, I was once an athlete, believe it or not. I get depressed sometimes, the doctors, just say beat it, but it's not that easy. You have to have a strong mind, but I'm not quite there. But, I found something that keep me going and that is "purpose" . My aunt was fortunate, something even with a strong mind, cancer sometimes get the best, of us. But, she had fight in her and a "purpose". Another relative, my favorite uncle in the world, found out he had cancer, he was given 6 months to live. He told my mom and a few other people, not to tell anybody. When I went to my grand ma funeral he look healthy. He was retired and said, he wanted to see the place where Christ came from the grave, go to the Bahamas and see the pyramids. He fulfilled all his goals, and when he did, shortly after my mom said, he died. I cried! Didn't know he had cancer, my mom said, he fulfilled his goal and did everything he wanted to do. I told her, I wish he had other goals and things he wanted to do, he might could have fought and lived longer! His determination to reached his goals, gave him over 2 years more that expected to live. Most elderly give up and die, because they feel they have no purpose. My aunt still lives, because she has "purpose". With purpose, we can go on another. So in my opinion, we live life, because of "purpose" because "That's the reason why"
