'The remedy"

One holiday is over and more to come. This is the time of year people are the most happiest! But in real life most people are the saddest. Some morns the love of a love one and use the holidays to grieve. Some people suffer from seasonal depression, that usually kick in from late October to January, the winter months. Also, the time of the year, some look back at their lives and their accomplishments, and if they failed short, they look at their life as a failure. The holidays are the most wonderful time of the year, but more people get depression during this time of the year. But, if you look at statics, crime goes up in the cold months. Who would have thought? But it's strange that October is usually the month people look back at their lives, whether it's good, bad, or so-so. We find ourselves in a stand still. We can't wait for the ghost of Christmas past to come bale us out, that the past, sometime we have no control about that. Or the Ghost of Christmas future to come, that's not going to happen. We can't do the same thing and expect different results, or do nothing and expect something to happen, not going to work. But believe it or not, we control our destiny. If we want to be sad on the holidays, that our prerogative. Sometime It can be good therapy! If someone want to look back on their life, and decide whether it was a success or failure, that their call. What makes a successful life? I been trying to figured this out for over 40 years. We got our own interpretation about success! I have "The remedy" for those who are ailing during the holidays. I don't mean ailing from a stomach ache from too much food, or a head ache from too much booze. Not that at all. I mean the one who ailing from a sad heart, or the one suffering from seasonal depression. "The remedy" is YOU, because you control your own destiny. If you happy or sad, it's up to you, if you miss a love one, they don't want to see you sad. I miss my dad, but when I get sad, he tell me, he's ok, and live my life. So if you start to get depress, and start going to a dark place, first cut on your lights! This helps me! Shake it off, and be around the people that loves you. So now, you have "The remedy"

It hard, there are some day, depression defeats me. But there are time when I'm victorious as well. It's tough alone, we might need some outside help, but if we can do the little things, believe it helps!
