Hero Of The Day

I was up town today and ran into an old friend. We have not seen or spoken to each other for years, and we live in the same town. As we were talking, out side in the rain, she said to phone her up and we could go for coffee some afternoon.

I have had this happen quite often as of late.

So my question is, do they really want to reconnect or just saying that to be polite ?

 be polite, sometimes it is good to connect with old friends even though you have not spoken for years
