I saw a young lady at the gym yesterday that brought this subject to mind. I think she is a body builder . I do admire the obvious commitment she has brought to her quest and I certainly am not trying to disparage what she is doing. I am just wondering about the practicalities of working to "bulk" ones body / muscle mass to what many may think as excessive. I know for a fact that I had several male "body builders" in my military units over the years. And to put it bluntly, they were useless when it came to mobility and flexibility needed in field conditions. Is that the same for all body builders? I can not say, that was just an observation. I want to emphasis, I am not trying to be negative towards their choices, it is something that I could never accomplish myself . My question (s) to you,, Is this body "shape" attractive to you (be it male or female)? Have you tried to "be that way"? Do you admire their commitment to this life style? Add anything that you like to this conversation

 Have never tried to get that muscular. But I do admire their commitment to the sport. I personally, dont think its all that attractive...not until I saw a few of the pictures you posted.

 I can admire their commitment to a point, but to most of them it becomes an obsession! And as u pointed out they r useless for most any thing but weight lifting.
The lady in the last photo, not intimidating, just not sexy at all to me!

 You know that top picture you have here she is a hot body builder. The ones that have all their veins popping out and stuff is a huge turn off for me. But people need to workout. I hope your Monday is a great start to your week..
