Today is a grand day. A celebration of the beginning of the United States.

Each year on July 4, The United States celebrates Independence Day.
This day is a federal holiday which commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.

No offence to our friends in England, but independence is a great aspect of this country. It is something for us to celebrate and hopefully make sure our remember the significance of the day. Here in Puerto Rico, there will be huge fireworks displays. The beach will be packed. Are there displays where you are? Will there be parades. Are you going to celebrate the day?
