From A 's Eye

This question is coming from a man who swore that he would never relinquish his hold on his ' card!

Do you have to learn to be an adult, or is it something that you just know how to do?

I've been waiting and witing for years, waiting for it to kick in, but it's just not happening for me.

Once I was fine with it but now I sometimes find it pathetic that I don't even know how to relate to people my age. Maybe that's why I'm such a quiet man, just hanging around and smiling, laughing at the oher adult's joke, dropping in a line or two.

I look at other adults interacting and it seems so strange, I find myself asking: "How do they do it?"

I was always childish growing up, but you know how nerds tend to be; for me I was always playing soccer, but when I wasn't I was reading everything I could get my hands on or listening to music, or drawing.

Now, if you want to have a conversation about world issues, science, entertainment, or anything intellectual, if you can carry a conversation you can get me to talk; but normal every-day adult inter-action is somewhat alien to me.

So, as I said, I find myself wondering: "How did they learn to be adults?"

How did you?

...relax dude....I played varsity level sports when I grew up....Lacrosse...track and Field...and Tennis...yes I said Tennis...I also have three black belts if anyone wants to play....I read everything from Aristophanes to Kant....

we all have trouble with the spoken word....except politicians..and then who cares about them..

....there are two things to being an adult...all open to further discussion...

1.Being responsible when you are suppose to...
    2.keeping that inner child alive....

now who's up to going to Disneyland (Las Vegas)

    Blue......
Damn! Talk about 'words of wisdom.'

Thank you, sir. I guess I just needed to adjust my perspective; you're so right.
