Stevie Nicks And Idol

I love to say, rather proudly I might add, that I don’t watch Reality TV ( I actually don’t slow down to look at wrecks or accidents on the highway, either, but that’s just me) but every now and then I read about something happening on American Idol and, of course, I’ll take a glimpse to see what it’s about.

So this week I see where Stevie Nicks is going to mentor Idol contestants (EW.Com; 3/25/12). The last time something in Reality TV got my attention was when Adam Lambert did Tears For Fear’s ‘Mad World’. I wasn’t disappointed then. So I figure I’ll take a look-see again and see if I can be two-times lucky!

This was going to be my post, but then I realized: just because she’s going to mentor them it doesn’t mean that they’ll be doing her songs or Fleetwood Mac songs.

So I guess I won’t be watching after all! Now I can go back to saying I don’t watch Reality TV.

 Mine used to be also. Had all the Reality I needed, but I seem to be close to my idea of normal now

The only Reality TV I ever really watched was when INXS was trying to find a lead singer some years back. I have to say, I actually enjoyed it.

The crazy part about it is that I was at home so I could have taken a look just to make sure, but sometimes I'm really stubborn.
