I read the other day that there is no such thing as uncontrollable rage when referring to abuse. If it were uncontrollable they would be abusing their friends, boss and others around them. Oh they can control the rage they just choose who the unleash it on.

The literature I was reading was at a local shelter for the abused and was referring to the abuser. It takes a while for the abused to admit they are not the real problem. surprisingly there are males at the shelter at times. Mostly males, though abused, are there with children they are protecting.
