Lazy Profiles I understand that a lot of men just want to get onto the site, find a chick, meet and then fuck, but in the real world, it's not as cut and dry as that. Most women don't want to be treated like a cum dumpster. Shockingly, we still want respect and courtesy (unless she is a freak and likes to be treated like crap, but that's a whole other story) If you haven't already noticed, I'm being just a bit sarcastic...hehehe What is this all leading up to you ask? Well, let me tell you..... In basic terms, the amount of effort that is put into one's profile, is what a potential fuck partner will evaluate your ability to satisfy them based on how little you put into a first impression. Instead of typing the same old lame bullshit, why don't you actually just be yourself and write about what you like and don't like. Give the people that are obviously interested in you a reason to stay and read. I think with just a bit of effort, you could make your boring ass profile, into one that others want to read and will respond to. I have, on a number of occasions, written someone b/c of how awesome their profile was. If there were more of you that did that, I'm sure the success stories would increase. Eh, but what the fuck do I know? |

Why don't guys say more in their profiles? Too many fakes and flakes. Why pour your heart out only to find out she wasn't real, in both modern senses of the term?

profile text is one thing, i think the lack of any profile picture is another thing. at least i like to know who the other one is

I have noticed that a lot of profiles are not filled out. Men do seem to be the worse at this. I know that if there is not a photo and introduction statement we skip the profile all together. But hey who cares there are many men and women on this site that could care less. They get a lot of hits just because.

My gold membership will end tonight so I wont have much chance to read a lot of the profiles. However, I have found plenty that I know NoStrings helped them write by checking off a choice box and doing throughout the entire profile process. And Prefer not to Say- that's a big warning flag to me. I actually answer some of these hits on me by writing them and telling them their profile is "too bare" for me to care. And on the pic issue- I do not have a pic posted. I have a very public job and am well known in my community- not worth the possible problems. If I want to see someone I will offer a face pic once I establish I don't yet know them. And it's not all the men who do a poor or secretive job- some women are no better.
