Happy Sunday!

Earthquakes are very rare and unusual in your region, aren't they? Unlike here! We in NZ are getting shattered regularly...

I'm glad that you had no damages.

Grateful kisses,

We went through a period of very mild (4ish) earthquakes here, but once they cracked down on the fracking they seem to have ended.

Been out doing fall yard chores all day and this was the first I heard about Alex. He did seem like a classy guy.

No quakes, they just allowed here, Georgia has enough problems, still not through counting ballots, even when they get through, they will have to start over and it will not make any difference.. Such a wast of money when it is over, some people just can't believe!!!
Good weather 70s today, some clouds but a lawn full of leaves, will start on them tomorrow..Have a nice evening..

We call them minor here. Should be very little damage. I wouldn't mind making the ground shake with you

CT seems like an odd place for an earthquake. Is there an Atlantic Rim?

I've only experience one here in Hawaii, and it was a fairly minor one years & years ago. It's an odd thing when it happens though. Take a few seconds to realize what's actually going on.

Except for the upper midwest (Michigan across to North Dakota) every state in USA has *some* seismic risk. As I am sure you are aware, Connecticut's fault line poses only low-to-moderate risk of serious damage and/or injury. It appears you only experience them every 3-4 years (as compared to my city, which has several of them each year).

My favorite Alex Trebek quote is how he could not suffer the presence of unintelligent people and found the perfect workplace environment on "Jeopardy". Would that we could all be so lucky. RIP, Alex.

Pancreatic cancer seems to be a real killer, very low recovery rate.......I've never seen Jeopardy though, I hope the show goes on to honour the gent's memory.

And I hope you were only a little shaken, not stirred, McK!

I saw the earthquake on the news, and I am so glad everyone is okay. That is a great old song, and fits very well with your blog. And Alex Trebek will be missed by so many people, he was a great humanitarian as well. May he RIP.

I would of been here earlier, but for some reason your blog wasn't showing up on my watched list until right now. I hope all is going well, and I hope your Monday is a great start to your week..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Back when I was a teen, I woke up with my bed in the middle of the room... I happened to have slept through it... lol... I can't remember the magnitude of the earthquake... but it was the talk of the town for a while.

Happy to hear there was no damage, I used to live on a fault and most times the earthquake was not enough to even really know there was on... but once in a while... you could really feel the earth move.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Alex Trebek as well.

I’m glad you are okay...the pooch too. (You get earthquakes back there? I thought it was the big storm fronts.) And yes, very sad about Alex Trebek. He lasted a long time with it, more than most...and had the best attitude (at least publicly). I don’t know if he can truly be replaced...or if I want him to be. He was such an integral part of why that show was the way it was.

Alex Trebek wasn't great. He was the greatest.

I've watched Jeopardy! religiously for most of 30 years, and have never gotten sick of watching it-quite the opposite,, in fact.

Purest definition of a gentleman. He will be missed. R.I.P.

Thankfully, earthquakes are rare here in the UK, even small ones.

Earthquakes are eye-openers... that's for sure. Been through a few, in the range of 5.4.
The house vibrated..
