Perfect

Just a reminder folks. There is no perfect. There is only right now and how it feels. There is no prefect girl, guy, song or meal. There is no perfect dance, or smile, or cologne or sexual position. There really is no one perfect thing.

Instead there is what memory and everything other great thing does to you and that is give you the impression of perfection. Don't strive to be perfect, just be who you are. If that doesn't give your partner the impression of perfection than it is their loss because you are pretty great and they are missing that.

Enjoy the rest of your life.

 I often read your very insightful blog, and find myself thinking "I like the way his mind works".

I figured it was about time I stopped by to make a comment, and tell you how many of your thoughts have resonated with me.

And then I think, "damn, he's way too young, married and lives in the wrong Province". Just wanted to let you know how refreshing some of your "deeper" blog post are to read.

 But do you believe that things can be perfect within a certain moment? Have you ever thought, "This is it. There is nothing I would change about Right Now,"? Have you ever literally held your breath ~ not moving, not thinking, trying to still your heartbeat ~ just wanting the feeling to last as long as humanly possible and trying desperately to remember exactly how it feels so that later you might be able to experience a pale shadow of it in your memory....

i have had moments that were fantastic, the illusion of that perfection is because i havent had a better, more perfect moment come along. hell i savor the looks and smiles of the women i have been with as well as all the other little things along the way. i dont want to go looking for perfection and miss a tonne of amazing along the way instead.

 Ah, but if you look for perfection, you'll never find it. And if you are fortunate enough to find it ~ however fleetingly ~ you won't be able to stay there. But I would think it might be nice to know that you have, in fact, experienced it once upon a time.

maybe perfect lies in your orgasm. that is perhaps the closest we get to perfection, that moment of ecstasy that is orgasm.
