Lost my best friend
Lost my best friend (Sir Eli Beagle Dog) to cancer 05-02-2016.Was always by my side. You are loved and missed dearly my little man. RIP

 SORRY for your loss. Any Pet owner knows they are more than just "Pets" I have a Golden Retriever I got 8 yrs ago for my Boys after my divorce and is always under my feet...right by my side

Thank you. Sounds just like my Eli. I got him for my sons ten years ago. Always around me and wanted to go every where I went. I loved taking him with and watching how excited he was just to be loved and involved. Miss him so much.

 I am very sorry you lost your best friend....it's difficult at best, but in time hopefully you will have the space in your heart to adopt and love another animal. They give us unconditional love; unlike humans who can smash our hearts to pieces. Grieve for your best friend, but know he is all well now.

Sir Eli Beagle, rest well in peace; run with the other doggie angels in heaven!

Thank you, you are so kind. I'm sure I will find another furry friend to love again. I can't help myself when it comes to animals. They know how much love I have to give and bring it out in me. Gonna give myself some time first and will know when the time is right.

I'm sure Sir Eli is now again able to run and jump around with all of his friends in heaven too. Thanks again for the kind words.

 I'm sorry for your loss. I like to believe it isn't forever. Heaven for me will have my furry family there along with the regular folk. : )
If you don't stand for something , you will fall for anything !

Thank you so much. I believe the same thing. Right now I think Eli is playing with all the other furry friends I had and our friends have had pass on. Plus I know my grandmother is right there spoiling all of them. She was his biggest treat giver. Thanks again and keep loving your furry friend.

 I hope your grief over the loss of Eli has been buffered by the happy memories of the times you shared. I have yet to adopt another dog following the death of my last one 5 years ago. But I think I have decided that the 10-15 years of joy and companionship. The unconditional love and that wagging tail that greets me when I walk in the door as won out.. Good times or bad times, they are best shared with a friend.

 Thank you so much and wish you the best too. My sons decided to adopt a sweet little boxer named Leah. She is almost 2yrs old and has lots of energy. She is a sweet little cuddlier. She loves being right by you at all times and sometimes right on you. She has really helped me too. I love having her around and that I am now her grandpa. LOL
