You first talked to and/or met the female half, alone or with him around and saw for yourself it was her wishes for him to be able to go play?

 I feel you on the lack of a reply from most single women out there. It is a tough field out there for us guys. I do respect those women who atleast say "not interested." It shows that atleast they are reading your letter.
