The Secret Contest is over; there is no winner! I decided weeks ago that as I approached 1000 responses, I wanted to do something special for number 1000. But I didn't want to announce it and turn everything into a radio contest where people who don't comment normally just did it for the contest and flooded me with nonsense. (Is that like malarkey? Or is it like bamboozling?) So anyway, I decided that the person who made the #1000 comment would get to actually meet the real Trav. So I slowly introduced new posts and waited for things to take the natural course, figuring that would give everybody an equal and random chance. Unfortunately, you guys managed to stop commenting at 999. So I waited. And I waited. Basically if I put up another post, the winner would be the one happened to see it first. I didn't like that, because I know there are times I get busy and I miss short time posts and pictures. So unfortunately I have decided to cancel the contest. Which I figure will not break anybody's heart because you didn't even know there was a contest in the first place. This brings me to the way I lead my life. I try to be always on my best behavior, because you never know who is watching. Call it Karma, call it the Santa variant, but it has always worked for me. I try not to be nasty even when I think no one is watching, or do things privately that would not be accepted publically. It' s sort of like telling the truth because you can't keep track of the lies. You never know everything about everybody you meet. So sorry Trav fans, but that's the way it goes this time. Don't tell me you didn't want to meet me anyway; I don't think I am strong enough to take it right now. Merry Christmas! Trav Embrace the suck |
