The Site Redesign

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Not just from a design perspective, but from a usability one. Everything is now at least one additional click through. I have lost my bling, a huge deal. It's as if my blog has been buried. And frankly, I am not at ALL interested in what the site considers "hot". Why would I want to look at pictures of women who I may or may not find attractive but who live thousands of miles away, and have that be the principal front page feature?

Ryan you knew most people wouldn't like the New Site Design..I know your the "Liaison" here,and you are trying to help us....I get the new design is here to stay however..with so many bugs,complaints etc...IS this site even going to address them and TRY TO REDO / FIX ? OR is this just a waste of time for us (members) to even discuss this all?? Just curious.. What Gag Reflex? I am A Cum Guzzler!

You guys have totally screwed up this site it is not user friendly very hard yo navigate!!! I suggest you go back to old design or you will probably lose alot of members with myself being one of them!

Switch it back please, it's horrible and why on earth did they remove the latest comments by others from the blogs, that just doesn't make sense. The whole thing is not user friendly.

I am sorry but I truly do not like the "new extremely bright white generic profile non-friendly format that glares at me" layout except for a couple small items: one being the removal of the tacky red/orange bar that screamed out NoStrings and the other is the lines separating responses on the Advice Line are nice but the words are slammed into the left hand margin and the difference between quoted words and responses is harder to determine right off. The new design isn't really that bad, once you've relearned to navigate around here. It'll take time for most to get used to it, then it'll become normal again. The name of our blogs aren't listed on our profile anymore, but our blog entries are, it's just that it requires a few more clicks to get to "our entire blog." I see the colors and the bling is still available on our blogs and in whatever group a person may be in that uses bling and colors for wallpaper etc. I suppose my only real what I would call a grip is that we don't have the option of using colors and bling for background and borders etc to kinda dress up our profiles anymore. I don't understand why we couldn't keep the colors and bling in our profiles to do so if it's still available in our blogs and groups. If you could answer that me and probably a lot of other people would be interested to actually know why that is. But one other little thing I did notice on my profile is that the testimonial part of my profile is still showing the colors I had chosen. If you could answer what I've asked in bold black I'd appreciate it. ~  ~

I don't like the organization or navigation, and it looks like an amateur web designer got the template from a stock of cookie-cutter templates in a beta .html software package. Looks and feels cheap, plastic and gimmicky. Very impersonal and not user friendly. Everything is harder to get to. It's total crap.

I'm not a fan of the redesign. But a lot of the stuff I can deal with I suppose. However my biggest complaints are that the section in my blog that tells me what post were most recently commented on by others is go. And there is no link to my blog on my main page. And from having talked with other bloggers these are pretty universal complaints.

i offered yesterday that the new look...well, just doesn't cut it. you replied asking me specifically why. ok. the overall look is drab, blocky looking, and some areas crammed together. lifeless is another good word to describe it, with navigation slower and more cumbersome, with some areas not following a logical pattern from one topic to the next. your previous "look" was just fine and as a matter of fact, even the classic design prior to that looks much better and functions better than this system. when navigating i feel i am looking through something uninviting, boxy, too compact, and bland. sorry about that.......but i stand firm on my ideas please bring back the old and if you have the yen to change something....do it on a smaller scale and really think about what you may want to change.........as of now the old is good and nothing from it screamed out "change me" thank you for hearing me, hotrod352006

I think the new design sucks. It isn't user friendly as it should be. Someone must have figured this out to save his job. Had to do something now can redesign it.

Thanks! It would have taken me a while to figure that out - although now that I think of it, I think that is a similar set-up to a few other sites that I'm on.

I'm still making a decision on the total layout, but I am disappointed that the colours for my profile option is gone. A colourful profile makes for a more personalized profile. Shows interest in what you are wanting to convey to others... I had Black background with blue writing with a background of bling. It was me... it was me trying to show some of my personality to others. I always enjoyed reading other's profiles that had some imagination to them as well. Took me a few minutes to find the log out button which should be more in plain view in case of a need of a fast escape from site lol But like any change there is always pros and cons and it will take time to get used to things.

We do not like it at all. Membership is coming up..... we were trying to decide if we would renew on NoStrings or another site we had been with in the past. Unless we get an option for a "classic view"...we will not be renewing.

Resouces which could have been better applied to making the site work properly, combatting fakes, and improving the incompetent Abuse and Customer Service departments so they actually do their jobs properly

I hate it! The bright white hurts my eyes, the grey is such a drab colour. The font on my profile is now so small people are going to need a damn magnifying glass to read it. I got the new format yesterday and immediately tried to adjust the font size and after waiting all day to for it to be approved it didn't change, it is still tiny. Profiles now lack any real personality, they are all basically generic and soulless! All the words are now squashed to the left hand side of the page and looks tacty and somewhat messy.

Horrible look to new format. Not as user friendly, why did we have to have changes. Did not hear that many complaints about the old, ONLY when there were other changes that affected our useage and something went haywire with a minor change or glitch. Prefer to have it back mmore than way it was. Why cause problems for your users. IT IS NOT AN IMPROVEMENT AT ALL>

simply terrible. this new design has destroyed my way of blogging. I feel it's more of a downgrade than an upgrade. If this new design stays, I will not renew my membership.

I think it is boring and hard to navigate. Another thing try using it on your phone, It's next to impossible. I had my best orgasm.

Just checked out the view live webcams section and I'm not happy at all - you used to be able to see who had audio (the only cams I watch) and now there is no way to tell from the main page - I don't have time to click on every single cam, wait for it to load, find out they don't have audio, click off and move to the next one and repeat the entire process until I find one. Total BS. My apologies to all the guys who love to cam but now I'm just gonna watch porn.

Before you guys mess with Passion, do an analysis of how many A FF members, most likely mainly bloggers, are logging in through Passion after the redesign was launched. considering the number of bloggers there are on the site, it might not be a significant number that'll impress the powers that be but it'll give you a hint of what the heavy users of the site think.
