I might b able to take that a little more seriously if it was posted in either this thread, as a separate post in *this* blog or a post in one the other staff blogs. While many complaints to the Site Support blog have yet to be even posted, much less answered, and calls to Customer Service got the usual deflections and BS run-arounds, NascarFox and Community have been the only ones who have acted on the h00ker problem. SS support finally answered my complaint after 2 days. Ryan was on it 5 seconds after I told him about it. Ryan and Nassy were getting results while the rest of the site had their collective heads in the sand and you excoriate them here for WHERE they post their answers? D4

Ryan answered in the forum that had the biggest audience for the problem at hand. You got a link to that answer here and obviously read it. While many complaints to the Site Support blog have yet to be even posted, much less answered, and calls to Customer Service got the usual deflections and BS run-arounds, NascarFox and Community have been the only ones who have acted on the h00ker problem. Stupid ass me thought Ryan could at least have some intern take the full 60 seconds to copy and paste the answer here. Or god forbid, do it himself. However, as much as "awesomeness on a stick" as Nassy is - she isn't fucking staff. She's not employed by A*F*F. The answer carries less weight because it's NOT here. Ryan's job isn't to *just* go out and fix the issues. His job is to provide us some direct acknowledgement and personal attention to the issues we, as a community, have. Thus, building up the "community". It's why you feel the need to defend him here. Because clearly you feel you've been given personal attention. It's the same reason you have posts below complaining about the poor responses. When I send a newb from the chatrooms over here because they got late info that they are being pimped as hookers - I expect them to get an answer posted from RYAN's account. Things posted by Ryan carry more weight because he's here as staff. I'm the one that looks a fool when the newb comes back complaining that there's nothing here but a link to what is to them, some random chick's blog. Some things should NOT be delegated to members. I then have to waste limited messages to explain it or try and explain it in the middle of a chat room. Just like I have no f'n clue who the fuck you are and why you think you have the right to tell me who I am and am not going to "excoriate". You also don't know me and don't know that I'm the one that's always gonna call out bullshit when I see it. I'm calling bullshit. The only thing I HAVE to do is eat, shit, and die. Usually I have a list of technical bugs for each month's suggestion box. However, this month I must echo the concerns expressed about the number of fake profiles. I won't be renewing my membership here & I've been a paying member on & off for 10 years. I have to agree, due to the sheer volume of fake profiles, the parent company is behind this some how. NoStrings has always had fakes, but the number of fakes has exploded in the past several months. The real people are swallowed up in the sea of fake profiles. Too, paying members get profiles rejected for changing one word on their profiles, while the obvious fakes get "approved' by the thousands daily. I'll go find elsewhere to play when my membership is up.

First of all, I'm not slamming Nassy. If Nassy wasn't the awesome member of this community that she is, she wouldn't have shared a damned thing with us. Nassy showed enough respect for the members who posted below on the pink pussy topic to put the link here in the first place. I got that, thank you for playing. Second, I didn't read that here, I read it right in Nassy's blog. But you wouldn't now that because you weren't at my laptop with me yesterday. I would've remembered that. At the moment, there is a lot anger in the blog community on this site, regarding the website Pink Pussy. What astonishes me is that Various Inc thought they could actually get away with this, don't get me wrong I understand that Various Inc is a business, but hasn't the company ever heard of business ethics? Already I am reading threats of lawsuits/lawyers, not only on this blog, but on other blogs on this site. I suggest that Various Inc stop burying their heads in the sand, hoping that this will go away, and collectively do something to resolve this issue. None of the women on NoStrings want or deserve to be labeled as Prostitutes/hookers or whores, so why treat them like that? Various Inc needs to sort this out now! Many have been on this site for a number of years, most with Silver or Gold membership, and don't deserve to be treated in this way. Again I ask that Various Inc see reason and common sense, and end this stupidity.

I'm sorry for this confusion. The fact still remains that despite your helpful posting - there is still have people posting here who are not aware that it's an affiliate problem and not Various Inc. My original comment about the half-assed thing remains my opinion. The explanation should b here and there's still an issue of poor follow through with affiliates. If I seem angry it's because I'm pissed that this was allowed to happen in the first place because there is no follow up checks on affiliates. Say what you like, but that alone was half-assed and shows no respect for the female members of this site. Females, without which, this site has nothing. We deserve to have this issue addressed here, where we posted our complaints. To have that personal attention of a staff member. To have corporate policies that are consistent with some level of desire for us to continue our memberships and be active participants of this site's various communities and NOT treated as "inventory" waiting to be sold and re-sold - as we have been and are now. The only thing I HAVE to do is eat, shit, and die. Everything else is a choice.
