I NEED HELP!!!!!!!! Ok... I am in need of some desperate help, and I know after you read this some or most of you will be thinking.... that this really does not call for desperate help... OH BUT I BEG TO DIFFER. So here is my crisis.. Indy mand and I have got a case of the poison ivy like no ones business... I (indywife) got it first, and now indyman has it..... and not only does he have it.. he has it in a VERY uncomfortable place ( i'm sure you can guess where ).. LOL. As it is not funny, I am desperately trying to find a remedy to cure the itching for both of us. If someone and I mean ANYONE has any suggestions, it would greatly be appreciated.... We don't have poison ivy here in Alaska... I am curious how you got it (where you got it), though... Please include video and graphic descriptions. Apparently there are some prescription treatments. I am sympathetic...

I am sympathetic... Well lets just say that we both would LOVE to live in Alaska right about now!!! As to how we got it, there is a lady that lives next door to us that is approx 200 years old.., and she came out and told indyman that the tree that is in our back yard is growing over on her side, and it has poison ivy on it, and he needed to cut it down.. Well I went out first of course.. tried to trim the leaves from the tree, so we didn't have to cut it down, and then indyman went out there too, before my poison ivy appeared, and now we both have it... So we are both NOT at all happy with the elderly neighbor that lives next door.. I want to go over and show her my poor pitiful face and neck, and say....LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME!!! We have no videos of it, but i'm sure you can visualize it.. Thank you for being sympathetic.. We both hope to be rid of it VERY soon... Thanks as always for posting.. Indywife

I don't mean how you got it, but how you got it WHERE YOU HAVE IT? So when are you coming to Alaska?? -W LOL... Oh I get it now.. Well as far as indyman goes, I'm sooo not sure how he got it where he has it...  . I do sympathize as this is putting a damper on our "situation" if you catch my drift..

stf Thank you very much for your condolences.. They are greatly appreciate it.. I guess we should have been wearing long pants and long sleeves huh... You know we never learn our lesson.. . grneyedgrl I am TOTALLY thinking of taking a damn bath in the calamine lotion. . I am cracking myself up.. LOL. I am sooo ready for it to be over!!! Thank you for all your advice, and thanks a bunch for posting. Glad to hear things are going well on your end.. Hope she is feeling better.. i hav had poison ivy plenty of times, and in some nolt so good spots too. seriously here, dont mess around just go to doc. and get cordizone shot. itch will be gne in 2 days. there are also oher shots that work. say get the shot but they probably going to give you a p 7 day pill pack. cant think of name but it starts with the letter P. that takes about 3 days to reaaly start working. hope this helps good luck still got to laugh at you 2 tho

stairs1 Thanks we decided to go to the doctor (just couldn't wait any longer), and we didn't get so lucky to get the shot and get it over with.. we got the lovely Prednisone oral steroids and of course some cream ( which by the way does not work for shit ), in case anyone was wondering.. LOL. Thanks a bunch for stopping by the blog and posting.. but it's still not nice to laugh
