Driven from the Site I have found in my six plus years on here that a number of very nice and wonderful people find themselves driven from this site. Some come back after a short or lengthy hiatus, some never do. I find it such a shame when they don't. I suppose they have just had enough or can't stomach the thought of it anymore or whatever drives them. It is sad when that happens. The world and certainly this site loses a worthwhile person and Lord knows we have few enough of them. I can definately see why though. This site can be everything that is bad in the world. I can also be very good but not nearly as often, or so it seems. I have had times when I felt like leaving and I'm sure one day I will leave...but not because I've been driven out...rather because I've just run my course and don't feel it anymore. I suppose when a person leaves for that reason, then it makes sense. But to be basically forced out is despicable. Shame on those who do that. I noticed this morning that one such lady has disappeared from our midst. Because I have her phone number I texted her to see if she was indeed gone. She is, at least for awhile. Sad, because she was an honest forthright person who spoke her mind. But she just couldn't stand it anymore...all the bullshit...all the "advice", all the ragging...makes me sad and angry. Why can't we just accept people for who they are and deal with it? I suppose because we are jealous fearmongering assholes...or at least some of us are. I can't understand why a person gets his/her kicks out of being an asshole. Just doesn't compute for me. Perhaps they were abused as a or dropped on their heads or whatever...but even that doesn't excuse their behaviour. Stupid! Ignorant! Wasteful! The sad thing is if we eliminated all those tyupes how many of us would be left?? Scarey thought. I have always been a quality over quantity type of guy, but it still makes me cringe when I think about the waste...sigh. On this Fabulous Friday do a solid. tell someone you like that you like them because ____... It just takes a second and it can make the difference between a rotten day and a great day... |

Even as long as I have been here I am still amazed at the high school, or grade school games people play. I'm glad I'm not one of the popular bloggers so I don't have to worry about the bullies. I like you because you have always been nice to me and besides you post all the sexy men. LOL

This site and teh mb room in particular has many bullies! You need to read between the lines ifyou think it isn't happening. I have left for a few years and returned, and I watch it happen over and over. I used tolove chatting here as I felt accepted but like everywhere else in life this palce too ahs its bullies  Franticmother

From the old television series 'Kung-Fu' when you can snatch the pebbles from my hand, Grasshopper..... For many, they know when it's their time. I left for a while, but then returned with a different mindset. I am here for different reasons now although some may think not. However I for one cannot see how someone could be 'bullied' from the site, especially from either long distance, or from someone you've never met in-person, face to face. Cyber bullies are just that. They are like figments of the imagination. Most people can see through the bullshit and realize what is true, and what is not.
