The White Post
The White Post Hello bloggers! Welcome to The Venting Blog, and to The White Post where all things white are wonderful. So, what's white? Paper. Yep. The white page. Music? Yep. The White Album. Angel wings? Those are usually white. Snow. That is white, too. But the white page can be overwritten. The white snow turns yellow where the huskeys go. Some parts of the white album sound like white noise. Heck, even the color white can easily be transformed by the presence of another color. Any other color. Yep. White is definitely delicate. So, what's white in your world today? Can you comment in white? Or is this invisible to you, and all you see is white? Do you even like white? So get your white out and let's see it! white on! |

Makes a person think... That was once new and we look at it now in awe. Makes you wonder how we will be seen hundreds of years from now.

It was a beautiful late January day. It was 10 degrees above normal for that time of year, truly awesome. Mt. Vesuvius looks pretty cool in that shot, doesn't it? Here's a link to a post with a self portrait pic from that very same day. That tree I'm leaning on became sorta special to me. I even have a piece of its bark! The Blogland Advertising Page II Thanks for visiting The Venting Blog, and I'm so glad you responded in white. That's the spirit we love so much in here! Please come again, seekonlyone! blog on!

Master! You have neglected to provide the good readers with a link to that great blogger of yore, the king of pervs and your [blog expatbrit49], expat. After all, he was the original, the very first, (and the best), male blogger to rule at the top of the popularity list! He also was the worst speller, except maybe for papy.

E-gads,....it took me a while to figure this one out...the psychic told me I was a slow bloomer. Perhaps I'm a bit slow in other ways too. I sometimes share a story about my early traveling days and a visit to Pompeii. Back in 1972 I spent a semester abroad with a group of about 20 other college students and then toured the continent for a month. Amongst us was a long-haired loner named Quentin. When we were heading home through London Heathrow Airport Quentin was pulled aside by the customs folks for carrying a suspicious substance wrapped in rags. They figured perhaps a drug shipment, the brick being covered with a powdery substance. Fortunately our much older chaperon intervened quickly and Quentin was spared further questioning. It seems he wanted to bring a bit of history back with him to the states and he had lifted a brick from our visit to Pompeii. Had we been checking thru Italy things might have been a bit different but the British agents just shook their heads and sighed. I have often wondered what happened to ol' Quentin....and to many of our fellow bloggers. Where have they all gone Keith? I miss having Papy and Huny around...
