Getting Caught

Apparently my parents saw my husband with the friend of ours he had some fun with last weekend. Now they suspect that he is cheating on me, which is of course not true. I called them and let them know that I knew he was out with her and that we are all just friends, but I'm not sure they believe that nothing happened.

Has anyone been in this situation before? How do you deal with family members?
