Superficiality

I was reminded today just how superficial our society can be. Men AND women alike go by looks more than anything. It's sad really. Nobody wants a good, kind, hardworking, independent partner that is just plain average or a lil above. They want Mr. or Mrs. GQ. Sure the GQ's maybe hot, but you can hear the wind whistle thru their ears most of the time. I personally would rather have a good man that is average, hardworking, loving, kind, considerate, loyal, and has a few extra meaty pounds on his solid built frame, than a pretty boy any day of the week. 9 times out of 10 Mr. Prettyboy is only thinking of himself and how he benefits, forget what his partner wants. It's all about him. Just sayin.
