The 2 Day Mini-Lobster Season is here again!
We got there too late again, somehow water got into my gas tank so we had to stop and try get the water out of the water separator filter, but could not get it out the engine as I forgot my tools. So had to run the outboard on 2 cylinders! It went very slow all though I had it at full throttle.

Hume's Head had all ready been taken but we managed to get 11 lobsters at the heads around there! I also speared and 18 in Hog Fish! The ocean was rough with a lot of surge on the bottom and not very clear.

We got back ok and had a friend come and pick us up at the 15 Street boat ramp and later had the boat hauled out to be fixed. It also will need new bottom paint as there is mucho barnacles!

I just read that 3 divers died hunting lobsters during the 2 day Mini-Season! What a shame, they should have been in better shape!

Tell which taste better Florida, California Spiny Lobster or New England Lobster????

 Thanks for the comment! I gave my buddy 4 of the biggest ones and the guy who got us at the boat ramp 2 so that left me with 3, I ate half the Hog Fish Wed eve and 1 lobster Thur so I still have 2 left which are in the freezer.
